Prisoner of the Minotaur characters ì 107 Prisoner of the MinotaurI am conflicted The story is cleverly adapted from the mythology that captivated me as a child and yet whilst I admire the adaptation and the building tension I didn't actually enjoy this particular tale of the MinotaurEach year Athens sends tribute to Crete fourteen young people seven men and seven women drawn by lottery for sacrifice to the Minataur Kleon’s lover Lysander was given as tribute to the Minotaur several years ago and Kleon is determined to avenge himPrince Asterion lives

Prisoner of the Minotaur characters ì 107 Prisoner of the MinotaurI got this book for free in exchange for an honest review in the DBML program of the MM Romance group at goodreadsI loved this book set in the time of Athens glory days with the Minoan demanding a yearly tribute of 7 young men and 7 maidens I liked that we got to learn a bit about the minotaur than it just being the monster of the story I loved that the detail with limited license remained true to the myth told by Ovid I am glad the villainanti hero not sure which had depth to character other than a few of the captives most of who were just there to fill place he had the most development I would have loved to see of this story and would have loved to see it start back when Kleon and Lysander were a couple and then Lysander lost the lottery and had to go as part of the tribute I just want to the story then the thin slice we see If there wasn't so much violence and the seeing and description of the pile of dead bodies I would have rated this a five but to me I would have been

Prisoner of the Minotaur characters ì 107 Prisoner of the MinotaurI was given a copy of this book free by the author in exchange for an unbiased reviewI am going to start by saying that this isn't usually the type of book I read and also a new authorI went into reading this not knowing anything about the story of the labyrinth but it did not matterThis was a powerfully written book which drew me in with the first sentence and held my attention to the lastAt times it wasn't easy to read with powerful images off of the page and words which led you to imagine what was happeningThis was a short story but left nothing wanting I did wonder about the ending and what would happen next but a fantastic book and highly recommended

Prisoner of the Minotaur characters ì 107 Prisoner of the MinotaurFor a Greek mythology geek like myself this story was a lot of fun It had a nice gradual build up and was well paced and the depiction of the Minotaur himself was uniue and interesting The erotic scenes were enjoyable varied and they avoided cliches Everything flowed well and it gave the distinct feeling that Julia von Rist really sat down and thought about the setting and mechanics of it all Cohesive sexy and at times rather poignantRecommended for all connoisseurs of Olympus

Prisoner of the Minotaur characters ì 107 Prisoner of the Minotaur I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review I've noticed that the mm romance genre is filled with books and stories where the bad guys are evil the good guys are heroic and you can always tell the difference between them While at times especially if you are looking for something easy and fun that's okay I still prefer my bad guys complex In this case we have a short story that is essentially a re telling of the Minotaur myth where we get to see not only the pain and horror inflicted by the monster but the suffering he himself has endured There are no erotic scenes only brutal rape but there is a love story that is doomed from the very beginning The author sh

Prisoner of the Minotaur characters ì 107 Prisoner of the MinotaurThis book was received free in return for an honest review via the Goodreads Don't Buy My Love programA stunning twist of mythology the Minotaur of the Labyrinth and those sent to their deaths at his hand I'll start by saying that although I have a love of mythology I'm really not fluent in the tales Instead of researching the original tale I dove into this story open minded and anxious to see what the author would do with the myth I'll not recount the book it would give too much away what I will say is that I really enjoyed this short storyThere is a strong theme of non consensual sex let that be your first warning Barring that issue and the general suirming in your seat at the abuse Kleon endures from the Minotaur in his path to vengeance one cannot help but cheer him on Silently I
